About ReRoot

ReRoot is on a mission to get more people into gardening and interested in the natural world. The aim is to do this by making gardening easier for everyone to do and to enjoy without costing the earth.

To do this, ReRoot sells plastic-free, pollinator-friendly kits with easy-to-follow instructions. A simple 6-monthly subscription is available to ensure that your planter stays full of blooms for as long as possible.

ReRoot's aim is to convert as many people as possible to the joys of gardening and to help ReRoot people in nature and all its benefits. Happy growing.

Meet Ed

I am Ed, the founder of ReRoot. I have lived in London since 2018 and have spent many years gardening in small spaces, as well as wondering why more of my friends weren't into gardening.

My mum is a fantastic gardener and it has been a lifelong passion of hers which she has passed on to most of her children.

I love learning about the natural world and am driven by helping to improve the world we live in, for humans as well as for all the other species that live here. My hope is to get more people interested in growing things with ReRoot's growing kits (based on beautiful, stainless steel planters). The more people interested in gardening, the more people may be interested in the natural world and in doing their bit to help protect it.

The Planters

ReRoot is built around the stainless steel planter or window box which I have designed using my experience of growing in pots and input from other experienced gardeners.

First, they are made from stainless steel so that they will last without cracking or fading like many terracotta and plastic alternatives.

Second, I have carefully considered the dimensions and features so that they can be used in a variety of spaces. For example, I have limited the width and length to ensure they can be used as metal window boxes. In addition, they have relevant holes to allow them to be mounted on walls or as hanging baskets with the ReRoot Adaptable Mount. Finally, I have made them deeper than most alternatives of a similar size to improve water retention in hotter months.

With ReRoot's stainless steel planters, you can grow in any small space or small garden. In fact, you can even grow if you have no garden.
